Our half day rental is plenty for those that wish to enjoy several hours in the sun, while cruising lake Luzern.

FAQs

What equipment is included in the motorboat?

The motorboat comes equipped with a gas grill, an electric hob (requires connection to a land based power outlet), a fresh water tank, a fridge, a toilet, a heated outdoor shower, crockery, glassware, USB charging station, radio and UE-music player. Upon request, we can organise water skis, a water ring, a wakeboard and a stand up paddle.

What are the onboard sleeping facilities?

The cabin (stern) can sleep two adults. There is an additional sleeping area for one adult or two children.

Do I need a boat license?

The party must have a person with a valid statutory skipper's licence on board at all times.
The skipper will receive instructions about the boat and electronics.

How about insurance?

We use Allianz's fully comprehensive marine insurance. In case of damage, the excess (amount up to which you must pay) would be CHF 1'000.-

Are there any restrictions on using the motorboat?

The motorboat can be used without restriction on Lake Lucerne and its adjoining lakes. All equipment on board can be used. Removing the boat from the lake and loading onto a boat trailer is not permitted.

Are animals allowed?

Unfortunately, no animals are allowed on board.

What if I need to cancel?

For cancellations prior to handover, the following conditions apply:

  • up to and including one month 90% refund

  • up to and including two weeks 50% refund

  • up to and including one week 30% refund

  • no refund will be given for less than a week

  • conditions regarding weather-dependent cancellations within a week before the start of the rental period are described in detail within our contract
